Certifications and Credencials

We are member of TICC, an independent, private, non-profit organization of Italian and Thai businessmen and professionals, duly constituted and registered in accordance with legislative regulations in Thailand and fully recognized by the Ministry of Economic Development and International Cooperation in Italy.

With its headquarters in Bangkok (Thailand), host a wide network of companies and entrepreneurs from all around the world, mostly Italian and Thai businesses.

The Chamber constantly organizes activities, meetings, seminars, missions, and networking events to facilitate the promotion of economical, industrial and cultural collaborations with the aim to promote the “Made in Italy” in South East Asia and to develope the mutual cooperation and respect in the business environment.

TICC is a member of Assocamerestero (the association of Italian Chamber of Commerce abroad) and the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand.

 

We are working on certification process of RJC, the world’s leading sustainability standard setting organisation for the jewellery and watch industry wich vision is a responsible world-wide supply chain that promotes trust in the global jewellery and watch industry.

To pursue this aim the organisation:

  • adopt a severe Anti-trust Policy & Rules to ensure that the Council and its Members are aware of their competition law obligation;
  • define a reliable complaints mechanism to ensure the respect of the rules and ideas of the council;
  • apply a very strong Confidentiality Policy to protect the privacy of its Members and employees, and the integrity of the Council (database, cookies and translation safety policy);
  • apply an efective Conflict Of Interest Policy to prevent and mitigate that conflicts of interest at every instance;
  • address ecological issues in its own activities to minimising its impact on the environment, defining a responsible eco-friendly policy.

 


We are certified by TGJTA, an association create to “To develop and promote the Thai gem and Jewelry industry to be te Gems and Jewelry production and trading hub of the world”.

The aims of the Association are to expand and create trade opportunities for members and entrepreneurs to grow continuously and sustainably and to build confidence and promote the TGJTA to be a leading private organization recognized by both domestic and overseas government agencies and private sector.

To pursue these goals, the association works on resolving trade barriers and business obstacles, developing and promoting the potential of workforce trought education and training and stimulating the production, design and trend creation for the industry.

The Association founded, with others associations, the Gems, Jewelry and Precious Metal Confederation of Thailand with the mission to solve various problems faced by the industry and present various solutions to the government administration to adopt and enforce as national policies.
